This weekend position at Abraham’s Equine Clinic is responsible for feeding and watering horses, cleaning stalls, assisting the on-call veterinarian, and keeping the barns and grounds in optimal condition.

Work Schedule:
This position typically works from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Applicants must be able to commit to working most weekends.
This weekend position at Abraham’s Equine Clinic is responsible for feeding and watering horses, cleaning stalls, assisting the on-call veterinarian, and keeping the barns and grounds in optimal condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Feed and water horses as specified.
- Clean individual horse stalls.
- Load hay into wagons for distribution.
- Load/unload manure.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have experience working with large animals, preferably horses. Experience working on a farm or stables is preferred.
- Ability to operate or the willingness to learn (skid steer, tractor and spreader.)
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to clean 15-20 stalls each day.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, bend and shovel for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
- Ability to drive any type of vehicle without restrictions, and able to drive any type of machinery as needed.
