What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Art teacher in Burnsville- Apple Valley area position at Abrakadoodle Art Education?
We are seeking a creative, energetic teacher for our Abrakadoodle after-school art programs for elementary aged children in the Burnsville-Apple Valley area (ISD 196 elementary schools). If you have free time in the afternoon this is the perfect part-time job for you. Abrakadoodle is the leader in art education for kids 5-12 and we are running some very fun after-school classes during the upcoming school year. We are looking for candidates who have experience working with children in a preschool, childcare or elementary setting. You must be reliable, energetic and have transportation to get to the various education sites where you will work. We provide curriculum for the classes and you will receive training. Classes are generally offered the hour after school ends (generally between the hours of 3 pm and 5pm Mon-Thurs).. THIS IS A PART-TIME JOB. Pay is $19-$23 per hour for the teaching hours and $13 per hour for meeting/training time (once per quarter) depending on your experience. Teachers are paid for 1.25 hours for each scheduled class plus you will receive a class bonus of $3 per class for all classes with 14 kids.
