Key Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting and tracking Medicaid applications.
- Work up Medicaid files for appeal and prepare requests for expanded coverage.
- Correspond with Medicaid workers, clients, patients and their family members.
- Maximize Medicaid coverage under guardianship and estate proceedings.
- Experience: At least three years in an administrative or legal assistant role, preferably in a law firm or healthcare-related field. Familiarity with Medicaid is a strong plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage documents efficiently and with good accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-friendly demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using MS Office, Outlook, and document management systems.
- Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
