We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm seeking a Property Damage Claims Adjustor to become a part of our organization! You will investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of our client’s liability in automobile property damage claims.
Job Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be required to effectively communicate with all parties necessary to establish the automobile property damage claims.
- Telephone and email communications are a major part of this role which includes daily communication with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, repair facilities, contractors, police and fire departments, state and county fraud and arson personnel, special investigators, attorneys, expert witnesses, members of the medical profession and all other people involved with the investigation and processing of claims.
- Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties.
- You will be required to investigate and determine responsibility, confirm coverage, establish damages, and negotiate settlement of claims, as needed.
- Analyze and determine client and claimant liability.
- Analyze and determine the value of damages to client and claimant vehicles.
- Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight.
- Coordinate with our attorneys to assist in the evaluation of cases in litigation.
- The successful candidate will take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties.
Qualifications:
- A self-starter who can thrive in an independent, fast-paced role.
- Demonstrated organization, time management, and priority-setting skills.
- Proficient technical aptitude and quick learner with new systems and programs.
- Experience with conflict resolution and decision-making.
- Previous experience with auto property damage claims is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Property Damage Insurance Adjusters License a PLUS
Salary Commensurate with experience, this is a salaried role with a commission structure*
