We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Case Evaluation Attorney to join our pre-litigation team in our main office in Burbank, CA. This position involves reviewing case details, analyzing legal merit, and collaborating with department staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze potential employment law cases and assess the strength of evidence and applicable legal standards to determine case viability
- Perform legal research to support case evaluations and recommendations
- Work closely with other attorneys and support staff
- Ensure all evaluations comply with ethical standards and applicable employment laws
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in CA with good standing
- 2 years of experience in employment law case evaluation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate evidence and legal claims critically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
