Abramson Labor Group is looking for a Medical Evaluation Coordinator to join our Workers' Compensation team and deliver excellent service to clients.
This position works within the Workers' Compensation Department at Abramson Labor Group. You will have the opportunity to interact with the client's files throughout the lifecycle of their case and assist with scheduling medical appointments and handling requests for accommodations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages a high-volume Workers' Compensation caseload
- Schedules medical appointments
- Confirms client can attend medical appointments
- Handles requests for transportation or accommodation
- Maintains case notes and sends out notices to all parties
- Reviews and evaluates case files
- 1 years of experience as a Medical Evaluation Coordinator or medical field experience.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is required.
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Knowledge of CA Workers' Compensation Laws (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
