We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Team. This is a fully onsite role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties and responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable ledger.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and resolve issues.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
Required qualifications:
• A least 5 years of experience working in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired qualifications:
• At least 1 year of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Physical requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Ability to lift and carry files and documents weighing up to 20 pounds.
