Hiring : Case Manager
Location : Abraxas WorkBridge, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Abraxas WorkBridge is hiring a Case Manager to provide opportunities to youth involved with Allegheny County Juvenile Probation to complete court ordered community service hours through an established community service site.
The Case Manager maintains a client case load from intake to discharge. Responsibilities include finding an appropriate nonprofit community service site to complete court ordered community service hours, conducting placement interviews with site supervisor and youth / family, and establishing a schedule conducive for youth to be successful in completing the hours.
The Case Manager is responsible for monitoring each youth’s hours through follow up and updates from each community service site and reporting progress to the referring Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO). Once obligations are met, the Case Manager is responsible for case closure and submission of discharge paperwork. This position requires travel throughout Allegheny County.
Salary : $23.00 per hour

Case Manager Hiring Requirements :
High school diploma and minimum of three years of related experience in the juvenile justice system; OR Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and minimum of one year of related experience in the juvenile justice system.
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Driver's License
- Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing.
- Criminal clearances (State Police, FBI and State Child Abuse Clearances)
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks; including but not limited to employment and / or personal reference and driving records.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
- Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors
