We’re looking for a solutions-oriented Clinical Director to lead our multi-disciplinary team! Must have a Master's Degree and hold certification in South Carolina as either a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in addition must also have active Chemical Abuse Counselor credential in South Carolina.

Camp Aspen is a community-based residential program that provides services to juvenile offenders that have been identified as needing substance abuse education and services. Camp Aspen has a capacity for 30 boys ages 12-19 that are referred from the South Carolina Department of Justice.

Salary: $52,000 Annually

Clinical Director Job Duties Include:

• Devising strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.
• Assuming responsibility of budgeting and resourcing
• Planning and overseeing all patient care or administrative operations and programs.
• Develops and oversees facility operational policies and procedures in accordance with appropriate standards, rules, regulations, to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates interfacing of clinical services with educational, medical, community services, family services, and the training department
• Prepares appropriate reports and correspondence of all treatment services in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and in accordance with applicable standards of care.
• Assesses and monitors service resource utilization and assists with performance improvement process.
• Ensures that programming and services are appropriate to meet the needs of the clients of the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a Master's Degree and hold certification in South Carolina as either a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in addition must also have active Chemical Abuse Counselor credential in South Carolina. Must have 3 years of experience in a human service agency, which includes one year experience providing supervision of others, direct service and program planning.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Valid SC Driver's License

Hiring Requirements:

The Clinical Director is required to hold a clinical license (LSW/LPC) in addition to Chemical Abuse Counselor credential (through South Carolina).

At least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Satisfactory completion of background screening, drug screening, physical exam, and applicable pre-employment checks; including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.

Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors
