Treatment Supervisor
Located at Abraxas Academy, we are hiring a Treatment Supervisor to work with at-risk adolescents and help build better futures.
Our facility provides detention and treatment services for court committed youth, and is conveniently located minutes off of Exit 298 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Berks County.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Second Shift
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a human services field, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience working with children.
They will also be able to self-start, work independently, and adhere to timelines on a consistent basis with minimal assistance and supervision.
Other requirements include passing a physical exam, including TB and drug testing, as well as background checks through State Police, FBI, and State Child Abuse Clearances.
As a provider of trauma-informed care, we believe in recovery and that our clients can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct the activities of a specific treatment unit
• Provide supervision to staff assigned to the unit, ensuring all Abraxas policies and procedures are followed
• Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation
• Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees
• Guide, mentor, and supervise youth and employees effectively
