The Onboarding Manager is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of the onboarding journey for all of Abraxas Youth & Family Services programs; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.

Now hiring a Onboarding Manager to help our growing team expedite the hiring and onboarding process at multiple programs in multiple states.
As the Onboarding Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects related to the onboarding of new employees and serve as the main point of contact for internal employees transitioning to new roles. In this role, you will partner with Talent Acquisition starting at the post-offer stage through a new hire's first 90 days to ensure seamless logistics, a fast track to role proficiency and instill confidence in the new hire as they navigate their new role. The ideal candidate for this position will perform a variety of human resource activities with a positive, self-motivated and organized approach.
Role Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding / pre-hire journey of all new hires.
- Connects with all new hires post-offer to guide them through the new hire process roadmap.
- Manage all onboarding / pre-hire new hire modules in the WFN ADP.
- Administrate relevant background check, eVerify and credentialing processes. Conducts employment references. Conducts PREA background checks.
- Works with hiring teams and managers to create and deliver personalized welcome experiences for new hires.
- Maintains accurate documentation of work authorization in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law.
- Prepares and maintains 30 day new hire reviews, 45, 90 & annual employee check-in surveys.
- Manages and updates all internal trackers that monitor new hire and program milestones.

Cross train with Talent Acquisition team on relevant back up assistance and special projects.
- Assist screening resumes and conducting initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Assist scheduling in-person and virtual interviews of qualified candidates.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. (Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field preferred) and
- A minimum of five (5) years of related hands on Onboarding, HR, and Recruiting experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
- Valid registered vehicle insurance.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
