About the Role
As a Chief Nursing Officer for the Operating Room at Abrazo West Campus, you will oversee the management of daily operations and provide exceptional patient care.
Patient Care
- Ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with designated standards and practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and implement improvements as needed.
Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets to reflect appropriate expenditures for personnel, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor variances between budgeted and actual expenses and take corrective action to address any discrepancies.
- Participate in the interview and selection process for new team members.
Employee Management
- Oversee day-to-day staffing and make decisions based on patient needs and caregiver skill levels.
- Develop and post staffing schedules within established timeframes.
- Guide staff in advancing their education and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification required; ACLS as applicable by facility/department, PALS/NRP required for certain clinical areas.
