Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for coordinating functions and activities related to a single departmental function. This position oversees a clinic unit and coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RNs. As a liaison person, this role interacts with internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements, training and mentoring staff, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role, as well as the ability to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.
