Branch Manager II
As our Branch Manager II you will:
- Supervise work schedules and workflow of branch daily operations within the established policies and guidelines. Train, coach, mentor and evaluate branch staff to achieve all branch goals and productivity standards as well as to effectively and efficiently deliver service to members.
- Continually seek ways to effectively improve branch operations, to achieve goals and productivity standards, and maintain on-going staff training and development programs for the effective and efficient delivery of member services. Prepare branch reports and make recommendations.
- Develop new business in the branch market area. Make sales calls to surrounding businesses and represent the credit union at community events.
- Perform and/or supervise face-to-face interviews for loans, deposit accounts, and other special services. Be knowledgeable about all credit union products and explain features and benefits to members in accordance with credit union policy, standard procedures, and regulations. Provide assistance in ensuring member transactions are completed pleasantly and to the members' satisfaction.
- Ensure that the branch image is that of a financial institution by applying prudent housekeeping procedures, safety measures, and by supplying staff with appropriate tools, forms, and information consistent with a professional financial environment. Adhere to the Branch Security policy and updates when necessary.
- Act as Branch Credit Manager approving member loans within the established policies set by the Board of Directors. Contact management for credit decisions on loan applications that exceed authority limits. Prepare all notes, contracts, and ECOA notices. Disburse loans as authorized by the Credit Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate required. Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred or combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
Consistently over time, you have:
- Minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience within a financial institution
- Excellent knowledge of savings and lending programs offered by most financial institutions
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Strong positive interpersonal and leadership skills
- Prior business development and community involvement
- Working knowledge of current regulations governing financial institutions

Hours:
M-F; 7:45am-6:15pm
Saturday; 8:45am-1:15pm
Works 40 hours a week which includes a day off during the week.
