The Manager of Advisory Services is a key member of the Advisory team, focused on supporting Abrigo’s goals and driving client success. As part of a fast-growing company, this role offers dynamic opportunities to contribute across various areas of the organization, principally Valuation and Stress Testing. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with significant background in the financial institution space related to valuation and valuation-related methodologies for financial assets and liabilities, and strong background in stress testing and possesses effective analytical and critical thinking skills, a customer-first approach, a track record of developing/managing people, operational excellence, outstanding communication skills, and a mindset that blends ownership with servant leadership. This position reports directly to the Director of Advisory. Applicants may choose to work remotely or from our offices in Raleigh, NC, or Austin, TX.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a successful professional services team through the development of high-performing consultants and team members in a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, innovation and excellent customer service.
- Assist in the development of strategies that support Abrigo’s goals of growth, product excellence, and operational efficiencies through collaboration within the Advisory team and with other teams such as Sales and Product.
- Execute to achieve tactical goals of revenue forecasting, optimal capacity utilization, effective bill rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Oversee and mentor team members to ensure high-quality client deliverables and maintain client relationships with highly complex or escalated work.
- Cross collaboration with internal customers and other Advisory pillars such as stress testing, CECL, strategic pricing and ALM
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted resource for the Director, Advisory, ensuring bidirectional and proactive communication between leadership and the team.
- Help develop and execute team OKR initiatives where relevant tied to departmental and enterprise OKRs.
- Remain current on regulatory and compliance changes and other industry developments related to relevant area of expertise.
- Advise on the development of standard SOWs, job aids and training materials for product design and advisory delivery solutions
- Train team members on relevant conceptual content, delivery processes and tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Occasional travel required for team events to support engagement, relationship-building, and key decision-making.
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to drive and inspire a diverse team of analysts and consultants, demonstrated by a track record of success
- Proven leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong sense of urgency
- Minimum of 8 years of professional services experience with a focus on financial institutions and people leadership.
- Ability to quickly discern and choose important priorities from competing responsibilities
- Closing and deal engineering ability
- Finance, valuation, stress testing, CECL and/or technology background preferred
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
