What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewals Manager position at Abrigo?
We provide technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs.
As a Renewals Manager, you are empowered to work directly with our customers to negotiate, renew, and help expand their contracts. You will have a direct impact on whether or not a client stays with Abrigo and continues to grow their relationship. This role works collaboratively with multiple departments to ultimately make sure that customers receive the most return on investment from their licensed solutions. This individual will report to the Director, Client Success. Applicants may choose to work remote or office based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.
What You'll Do:
- Present renewal pricing proposal 60-90 days in advance of product expiration date
- Negotiate, document approval requirements and close license renewals at time of expiration date targeting price increases based on licensed products and loan growth
- Establish great relationships as a trusted/strategic advisor to deliver customer success & ensure renewal
- Detect, report, forecast, and mitigate renewal risk to identify and assist sales in enabling account growth
- Work interdepartmentally to bring client issues to resolution
- Consistently reach out to clients to ensure renewal execution date is met
- Respond to clients within 24 business hours to meet our SLA
- Stay current on industry and suite of services and products to meet account needs
What You'll Need:
- Ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in banking, finance, or a technical sales or renewals role
- BA/BS degree or equivalent and 2 years client service experience in banking and/or technical services environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while also paying close attention to details
- Proven account management or relevant experience
- Ability to work and communicate with senior/executive level partners
- Demonstrated ability in communicating and understanding more complex technical issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across multiple channels (email, phone, etc.)
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
- Demonstrated ability of retaining high level of client base (70%)
