ABS Kids is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team in Ventura. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing effective treatment plans for patients with autism using evidence-based ABA techniques.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days of in-office assessments and 3 days of remote work. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this position.
The Behavior Analyst/Assessor will play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
Responsibilities
- Complete multiple assessment appointments with families both in-home and at the center.
- Evaluate patients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for ABA therapy services.
- Prepare and submit final ABA assessment reports using approved payor templates within one week following the assessment.
Requirements
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education/development, special education, psychology or related field.
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Three years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting preferred.
