What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Behavioral Coach position at ABS Kids?
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at ABS Kids. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children with autism and their families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
Your role will involve teaching kids while playing, observing, playing, and collecting data to write a progress note, and helping kids learn essential life skills such as motor skills, social skills, emotional skills, and more. You will work on goals with the child that help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess lots of energy, playfulness, creativity, and the ability to think on your feet. You will be dependable, able to constantly get up and down off the floor, move quickly, and tech-savvy, comfortable learning our data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
