What are the responsibilities and job description for the FIRE ALARM SERVICE MANAGER position at ABS?
The Service Manager responsibilities:
- Respond to all service calls/requests in a timely manner on a daily/weekly basis.
- Update ABS task management portal and turn in all work orders for work performed in a timely manner.
- Follow up on unfinished service or go backs needed.
- Meet/contact Building Owners, Property Management, Maintenance, and Tenants to discuss our scope of work for proper timelines and planning.
- Mediate between all parties to implement workable solutions to stay on schedule with all service work.
- Hire, assign and schedule service workload to ensure proper manpower is provided for each project.
- Perform and follow through with any disciplinary actions concerning fire alarm service technicians under your supervision.
- Coordinate all services with customers.
- Maintain a strict schedule, making changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met within the hours allotted for each contract.
- Hold necessary service meetings with superiors and fire alarm service technicians at least once a month to ensure ABS standards are met.
Qualifications needed:
- F-Card (Fire Alarm/Protective Signaling Systems)
- G-Card (Fire Sprinkler Systems)
- Valid Nevada Driver's License
- OSHA 10 MINIMUM (OSHA 30 WILL BE REQUIRED AT END OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD)
- Ability to pass and acquire a military base pass.
- Ability to pass an FBI background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
