What are the responsibilities and job description for the Textile Loom Set Up Machine Technician position at Absecon Mills?
Absecon Mills employees must manufacture the highest product for the customer. We do this by consistent on-time delivery of fabrics and services that meet the highest standards of quality and durability,exceeding our customers' expectations and surpassing industry requirements.
Loom Set Up Technician is responsible for the process of removing an old warp,tying in a new one,and starting the loom to proper specifications. Technicians are also responsible for strict adherence to standardized work and company policies.Technicians are responsible for communicating to the weave room supervisor,insures proper start-up,actively inspects new start ups for any defects.Also responsible for all paperwork that needs to be filled out correctly and completely .
Hours: Full Time 530am-4pm Monday to Thursday
