Job Overview :
Absher Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our organizations network infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing network systems to support business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to address network challenges, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across the company.
What You'll Do :
- Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure.
- Monitor, assess, and enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing network systems.
- Configure and optimize network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of networked systems and software.
- Conduct regular security audits, apply patches, and implement best practices for safeguarding data and communications.
- Manage and maintain network backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and connectivity problems.
- Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and other enhancements while minimizing disruptions.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users regarding network systems and connectivity.
- Assist Helpdesk and collaborate with vendors, service providers, and contractors as needed.

Proficiency with Meraki routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Associates degree in Networking, Information Systems, or related field with 4 years additional experience, OR 7 years of related experience without a degree.

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $110,000 with the average starting salary in the 40th percentile range; commensurate with experience and training. This ensures we get you properly seated within our organization so that all parties feel good about our future together.
