Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospice
We are seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice team at Absolute Hospice, Inc. Our hospice services provide care wherever the patient calls home.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position for a dedicated CNA caring for our hospice patients, Monday-Friday, day shifts only.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care needs including bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen as assigned.
- Assist with dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned.
- Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Monitor and report on patient condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
- Assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist.
Requirements:
- Certified and Licensed CNA Courses
- High school level coursework in English grammar, composition, and mathematics.
- One year experience providing patient care in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar environment.
- Current CNA license and demonstrates competency in direct patient care during probationary period.
- Valid Ohio driver's license with safe driving record and proof of insurance.
About the Role
This role offers a $2000 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate of $16-$18 per hour.
