**Duties:**
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and provide them with exceptional customer service.
- Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized cash register area.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring products are properly displayed and facing outwards.
- Restock inventory levels as needed and assist with inventory management and control.
- Handle phone calls and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and fluency in a second language is an asset.
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store setting.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with technology sales and product demos is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
