Duties
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure that dietary needs are met.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality at all times.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, adapting approaches to meet their unique needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and memory care techniques is a plus.
- Certification in CPR is required for all PASA services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
