We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with stock organization, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You will play a key role in supporting the inventory management process to ensure timely and accurate product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and tracking inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy and availability.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the database and generate inventory reports.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle product labeling and tagging as required.
- Assist with the preparation of inventory audits.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in basic computer programs (Excel, inventory management software).
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
