Job Overview
We are seeking an eager to learn or trained bathtub, tile, and countertop prepper and refinisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be even tempered, friendly, honest, and professional. And posess a strong desire to learn a new trade painting and renovating bathtubs, wall tile, and counters. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial settings. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint using spray equipment.
- Restore and renovate existing surfaces by applying appropriate techniques and materials.
- Collaborate with other employees on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform caulking around fixtures to ensure a neat finish.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and refinishing.
- Free from allergies and asthma. Able to tolerate strong chemicals while wearing protective face mask and gloves.
Experience
- Prefer experience as a Painter or similar role in construction or renovation projects, but not necessary. Willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of various painting materials used in the industry, but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites and in residential homes.
