POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Laborer
REPORTS TO: Superintendent / Foreman

POSITION SUMMARY: This role performs general maintenance and manual labor duties on pipelines, well pads, compressor stations, utility ROW, and bulk earth sites.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that an employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Performs general maintenance and shop duties that may include fueling vehicles, caring for
equipment, replacing and repairing tires, and washing equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness of the respective work site.
- May perform general labor duties including site maintenance and installing E&S.
- Assists others as necessary with equipment, machinery, and trucks.
- Traffic control.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates in all required safety training and meetings.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Required:
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- The equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification

- Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, dust masks, earplugs, gloves, hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, safety toe boots, FR long sleeve shirt, FR pants, and FR safety vest.
- Tools including, but not limited to, broom, shovel, cart, and hand tools including but not limited to hammer, pliers, screwdriver, and wrenches.
- General yard/farm maintenance equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC WORKING CONDITIONS:
The following environmental/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual working conditions will vary.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions and loud noises
- The work environment includes machines, tools, trucks, dust.
- Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift/carry objects weighing up to 125 pounds at a distance of one to two feet
- The ability to push/pull objects up to 100 pounds of force
- Occasional sitting, ladder climbing, overhead reaching, balancing, kneeling, and crawling
- Frequent standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, and firm grasping
- Constant forward-reaching and simple grasping
