The primary objective of the Absolute Worldwide Regional Business Development Manager is to ensure the growth of Absolute Worldwide Logistics through the development of new business and selling new services to existing customers. The Business Development Manager is responsible for winning new accounts they will bring into our Waycross Georgia office location. This is a salary plus commission position.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Act as the single point of contact for Absolute Worldwide Logistics relating to sales and customer engagement.
- Proactively create targeted sales funnel to maximize sales and time and territory management appropriately.
- Develop profitable revenue in territory relating to International Logistics, TL, Air, Ground Expedite, and all other services associated with Absolute Worldwide Logistics with a heavy emphasis on TL, INTERNATIONAL, AIR, Expedite, and Ocean services.
- Self- develop your skills so you understand our service offerings so you can explain them to customers.
- Integrate your own book of business into our AWL business model.
- Consultative selling skills instead of just being an order taker
- Understand and support the goals, policies, and procedures of Absolute Worldwide Logistics.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or at least 3 years of outside logistics selling experience.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years field sales in a 3PL/Expedite/freight forwarding environment or 2 years of TL/LTL sales
- Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions.
- Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective presentation and customer relations skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Goal oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills.
Other Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License with proper Insurance and vehicle 2018 or newer
Willingness to travel throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and wherever makes business sense.
