One of Rhode Island’s best privately held companies is looking to add a Key Account Manager to our team. This is a high visibility professional opportunity for an energetic and talented relationship manager. Your goal is to increase revenues within our marquis accounts of some of the US’s largest Distributors and Wholesalers. We’re looking for an energetic and dynamic problem solver who has the gift of influence and understands relationships matter.
To be successful as a Key Account Manager, you should be able to analyze data and sales statistics and improve business and marketing strategies. You’ll work closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams, helping to craft our messaging and guide our partners towards some revolutionary products tackling a growing public emergency. You’ll be directing and conducting outreach daily via phone and email, while being positively persuasive. This is not an entry level opportunity, we are looking for tech-savvy, skilled communicators who understand the needs of our customer base. Some travel occasionally to Expos/Conventions and Customer sites will be likely.
Key Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company.
- Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
- Addressing and resolving key clients’ issues.
- Providing product education training to distribution partners sales teams.
- Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
- Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
- Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
- Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals.
Key Account Manager Requirements:
- Prior experience working with national distributors
- Tenacity and a strong work ethic where activity generates success.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
- The ability to build rapport with key clients.
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
