What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman/Master Electrician position at Abstract Electric?
Abstract Electric LLC is hiring with multiple positions available! Since 2004, Abstract Electric, LLC has been the premier electrical contracting service in northeastern Wisconsin. We service customers within 45 miles of Hilbert, WI in the residential, commercial, and industrial areas of the electrical field.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completed electrical apprenticeship with Journeyman License
Experience: 3 years industrial electrical field
Travel: Valid WI driver's license is required. Service area is within 45 miles of Hilbert, WI with occasional overnight and extended travel required. Site leads/journeyman are given a company-owned vehicle to take home at night!
Work Schedule: 6am-3pm Monday thru Friday (flexible). Varies depending on customer needs and may include occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with code
- Assists with material handling on the job site
- Inspect and test electrical systems, diagnose problems, and implement repairs
- Install and connect wires, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required to ensure quality of work
- Flexibility to work in cross functional teams and work with minimal supervision
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician an industrial setting
- Experience with PCLs, drives and other control systems is required
- Knowledge and experience in reading technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Knowledge of high voltage systems, NEC codes, and electrical safety procedures
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
