Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to expanding our client base and driving new commercial construction opportunities in the New Jersey Market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, a strong industry following, and a deep understanding of commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and secure new commercial construction projects.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and industry partners to drive new business opportunities.
  • Leverage an existing network and proven track record to generate leads and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align project proposals with client needs, ensuring the highest level of service and quality.
  • Represent Matilsky Construction at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Analyze market trends, identify potential growth opportunities, and provide insights to enhance business strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in business development, with an established following in the commercial construction industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling new commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction lifecycle, including cost-effective solutions, project management, and client relations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
