This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.
Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar company with more than 30 years of contracting experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. Additionally, we now offer commercial reroofing, TI, repairs, and maintenance services for C&I customers throughout California. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman with proven experience in various commercial roofing system applications. This position is field based and includes overnight travel and reports to the Commercial Roofing Division Manager.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Lead daily site operations, including supervision, training, and development of Laborers, apprentices, and journeyman roofers.
- Strong focus on quality installations and exceptional attention to detail.
- Daily communication with supervisors, clients, and co-workers.
- Daily use of company software to track, report and document services.
- Represent the company with clients, GC's, architects, and consultants.
- Provide guidance and labor support to production crew as needed.
- Manage ALL jobs to ensure jobsite safety and minimize exposure to weather related storms.
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Comply with company safety standards and practices to promote a safe and clean work environment.
- Coordinate inspections as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- 5 years of commercial roofing, with extensive knowledge of low slope and steep slope roof systems.
- Roof system applications to include Coatings, Hot Air Welded Single Ply, and Standing Seam Metal
- Ability and desire to provide training required to develop skilled labor.
- Thorough knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in (i.e., Microsoft Office, Apple/Android Phones & Tablets).
- Capacity to work well under pressure, and deadlines.
- Ability to manage a variety of duties with minimal supervision.
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail necessary.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test and physical.
