This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Reports to : New Construction Field Operations Project Manager - New Homes Solar

Primary Role : New Construction Solar Scheduler Responsibilities :
- Set appointments for service calls, monitoring, troubleshooting, commissioning appointments for Customers.
- Manage the calendar and ensure all critical information regarding appointments is properly recorded, communicated, and logistics.
- Review the calendar to ensure all appointments are completed or rescheduled if necessary.
- Manage all activities and communication related to scheduling in the CRM.
Secondary Role : New Construction Interconnection Specialist
Responsibilities :
Assist with Overflow of PG&E Application submittals for the Interconnection Team.Prepare, review, and submit a high volume of routine interconnection documents in accordance with company and various utility policies.Daily input of appropriate notes for all interconnection tasks, manage project status updates, and generate necessary reports to complete assignments.Identify common interconnection issues and develop suitable solutions.Provide accurate and timely updates to necessary team members, and departments.Must be a self-starter, as well as goal and task oriented.Assist in all stages of interconnection, which includes compiling, responding to deficiencies, and obtaining interconnection agreements with various utilities.Actively monitor, receive, and respond to all correction notices and engineer comments.Develop and maintain productive relationships with project coordinators, project managers, and sales consultants responsible for individual projects, throughout the interconnection process.Provide support for daily interconnection tasks, such as managing project status updates, communicating with project coordinators, maintaining file database, etc.Act as a liaison with applicants throughout the interconnection life cycle to provide guidance and assist in resolving a variety of routine issues.Phone and email communication with builders, colleagues, and utilities to ensure proper documentation is obtained in a timely manner, and requirements are understood and communicated.Phone and email communication with homeowners to ensure proper documentation is obtained in a timely manner, and requirements are understood and communicated. Assist homeowners with turning on solar systems and schedule solar monitoring and commissioning appointments.Conduct phone inquiries and web research to analyze and document interconnection requirements and processes for various utilities.Compensation and Benefits :

1-3 years of previous experience in solar and / or general construction preferred.Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, able to conduct themselves professionally in a high functioning department with rapidly changing priorities, self-motivated, able to learn quickly and work well in a team environment.Exceptional Customer Service, Communication, and Phone skills required.Strong computer skillsScheduling Background preferred.Residential and Commercial general construction and electrical knowledge.Familiarity with various Utility interconnection forms, and application procedures.Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required.Excellent customer service skills required.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Salary Description
