This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.
Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar company with more than 30 years of contracting experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. We are looking for a Solar Accounting Specialist to join our growing Retro Solar Operations team. This full-time position is based out of our offices in Sacramento.
Projects: Process requests from the Solar Project Coordinators/Project Managers with the following tasks via Sage CRM or email and utilize Sage 300 CRE to process work.
Job Creation
- Create new jobs for Retro Solar Residential and Commercial projects in Sage 300 CRE
- Enter project budgets into Sage 300CRE
- Update the budget as requested or add new cost codes to the budget.
- Cancel jobs in Sage 300CRE. Billing
- Process invoices for jobs at Project Coordinators/Managers request.
- Enter change orders into Sage 300 CRE and update budgets.
- File internal invoices in Invoice Project Folders. Reporting
- Run weekly and monthly reports as requested by your manager.

- 1-3 years of construction billing/accounting experience ideal
- General construction knowledge ideal but not required
- Process management experience required

- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Experience in Sage 300CRE preferred
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
