Position Summary :
The Sales Account Manager develops a thorough understanding of the local market, identifies potential clients, and employs consultative selling techniques to deliver tailored HVAC and refrigeration solutions. This role focuses on prospecting for new business, maintaining long-lasting client relationships, and selling repair work, project work, service agreements, and renewals. Collaborating with internal teams, the Sales Account Manager is key to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Sales Strategy & Planning :
Develop and implement sales strategies focused on maintenance agreements, repair work, and project solutions to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
Evaluate mechanical systems to recommend appropriate repair approaches, maintenance requirements, or system modifications.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Sell, manage, and renew service agreements, increasing coverage or services as customer needs evolve.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote Temp-Con services and generate leads.
Work with operations to ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including prospecting activities, sales progress, quotes, and communications.
Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager on sales activities, forecasts, and achievements.
Represent Temp-Con professionally, ethically, and safely in all interactions.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a service-based or technical industry.
Strong ability to research markets, identify target customers, and create individualized sales strategies.
