What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Specialist position at Abt Insurance Agency?
We are seeking an Administrative Data Entry and Customer Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining and updated client files, and assisting the business with administrative tasks. This is a hybrid work from home position, with the ability to work remotely 3 days/week. Two week training will be done in person/on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments
- Contact insurance companies to confirm policy approval and handle outstanding requirements
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform other office tasks
- Handle some customer inquiries and complaints
- Provide basic information about the products and services when needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields not required, but preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and MUST
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive, upbeat attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
