Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Greenville Sc: Female client w/Dementia (Mon-Fri 1pm-6pm) (Sat/Sun 9am-6pm) Can be split between 2 caregivers 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, laundry, light housekeeping .
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes in condition to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Uphold resident rights by treating all clients with respect and dignity at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving with a person w/Alzheimers /Dementia or related fields.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with senior care practices and long-term care environments is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
