Job Overview
The Maintenance Director is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team, ensure the upkeep of all equipment and facilities, and implement best practices in maintenance management. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive operational excellence and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and facilities.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs.
- Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively and develop solutions for complex problems.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair processes.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred but not mandatory.
