What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitter Welder position at Abundant Solutions?
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in fitting and welding structural items. ( ex.. platforms, tubing, sheet metal, plate, pipe, enclosures)
- Must be proficient in TIG welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum
- Must be proficient in MIG welding carbon steel and stainless steel
- Must be proficient in FCAW (fluxcore) welding carbon steel
- Must be able to fit up small and large assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs by hand.
- Must be comfortable reading complex prints. Also with measuring and fitting equipment like tape measures, carpenter squares, levels, band saws, grinders, etc (this line should not be a problem if the candidates fall into the above categories)
The right candidate will have:
Good work ethic
Reliable transportation
Willing and able to work alone on projects
Be a valuable member of a team on larger scale projects
Require little to no training
Solid Work History - No Job Hoppers
Compensation:
22-25 dollars/hour depending on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with overtime required as needed.
