Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in horizontal drilling and a strong mechanical knowledge base. This role involves operating drilling equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to pipeline construction projects within the oil and gas industry. The Driller will play a crucial role in the successful execution of drilling operations while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Duties
- Rotary mud and air drilling equipment, execute drilling projects efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize forklifts and water trucks as necessary for transporting materials and supporting drilling operations
- Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Dig trenches and prepare sites for drilling operations as required.
- Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in water well drilling operations within the residential and municipal sector is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with operating Caterpillar machinery and other relevant heavy equipment.
- Valid certification for forklift operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on site.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
