ABW Technologies is looking for a Driver/Forklift Operator. Duties include responsible for moving material and parts from receiving to storage and/or distribution to production.
May include loading and unloading trucks and related materials to and from vendors and customers by using forklifts and other appropriate material handling devices; maintaining storage areas; performing daily truck and forklift checks and delivering and/or picking up materials and supplies as needed from vendors or customers.
To be successful, the ideal candidate will need excellent teamwork, problem solving and technical skills, following instructions and taking direction; accuracy and thoroughness, observes safety and security, punctual attendance and dependability, shows initiative and sound judgement.
Requires three years related experience ; ability to read and comprehend basic instruction, write correspondence, intermediate math skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Employee will be required to obtain a driving abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Must be able to occasionally list and/or move up to 25 pounds and ability to perform duties with close vision and depth perception in a loud environment with exposure to moving mechanical part and fumes or airborne particles in a shop environment.
Day shift: 4 day/10 hour or 5 day/8 hour schedule.
