Job Description
We are seeking a QA Lab Technician to join our team at Quality team in our Homer facility As a Lab Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards by inspecting and testing them regularly.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with forklifts, be highly detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous plant experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Examines materials produced as well as raw materials, as required, to assure conformance with Manufacturing specifications and record observations.
- Document defects and communicate them to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Notifies Shift Supervisors, Operators, and Quality Lead of any non-conforming material.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Practices pertaining to Food Safety.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Required Skills
- Experience working with forklifts.
- Experience working with Microsoft suite and other computer programs
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
