Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Process Improvement Specialist to enhance operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of safety. This role will focus on evaluating workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that optimize processes while ensuring a safe working environment.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay (salaried position) - Depends on experience
- Benefits eligible - 1st day of employment
- 401K eligible - 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis: Assess current workflows, systems, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect and analyze performance metrics, KPIs, and other relevant data to quantify inefficiencies and measure progress.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement practical process enhancements.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives by communicating improvements, securing stakeholder buy-in, and ensuring smooth adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including Daily Visual Management, 5S, TPM, and SMED, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Safety Initiative: Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team to integrate safety best practices into process improvements, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, SOPs, and other documentation to ensure process consistency and sustainability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or operational excellence roles.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (certifications are a plus).
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and influence change.
- Experience with process automation and technology solutions is a plus.
- Prior experience in flexographic printing operations is preferred.
