Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects all finished goods for defects, appearance, width, diameter, and for all other special requirements according to customer's specifications.
- Wraps, caps, plug, and palletize finished goods in accordance with customer's specifications and keep floors clean in production and warehouse areas.
- Secures and prepares cores for use in coring up prior to processing each roll of material.
- Responsible for making or reviewing labels for correctness. Ensure each roll has a core ticket and a roll label, if required by order.
- Makes out accurate inventory tickets for each roll or pallet as required.
- Maintains bundling aisle work area and equipment in a condition consistent with good housekeeping standards. Keeps area clear of all waste, trash, loose tools, removes all old cores and core waste, etc. consistent with good housekeeping practices.
- Works as efficiently as possible to minimize damage to material.
- Operates lift truck in a manner to minimize damage to material.
- Places returned to stock raw material in designated areas according to procedure.
- Transports raw material from storage area to prime POU for production orders according to material description. Verify correct material has been staged. Follow all company procedures and operational guidelines. Uses FIFO for all inventoried material.
- Checks item number, and type of material placed at POU of the machines.
- Returns moved material back to the same bin location or does a bin change sheet. Places rejected materials in the rejection area. Verifies all paperwork is attached.
- Responsibilities of this position as it directly relates to the finished goods are to do each task correctly the first time and to achieve the highest level of quality in the goods that are produced, and the services rendered. Our aim is to continually improve year after year.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in manufacturing preferred, but willing to train.
Physical Requirements:
Climbing stairs, walking, stooping, bending, eye/hand coordination, pulling, pushing, seeing, writing, listening, speaking, grasping and lifting.
Mental Functions:
Comprehending, analyzing, communicating, coordinating, composing, reading, calculating, comparing, detecting, sorting and computing.
Working Conditions:
Normally works inside with controlled temperature, florescent lighting and manufacturing atmosphere. This may be high stress level position.
