Accountant-
Seeking a skilled accountant to join a large manufacturing company in the Tampa area. This position will perform general accounting functions as well as provide support for international trade and tariffs for client business lines.
Duties
- Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements as needed.
- Complete accounting and reconciliations for tariffs and verify the accuracy of reporting.
- Assist with monthly close processes and journal entries.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations.
- Provide support for international trade-related accounting processes, including tariffs, duty tracking, and brokerage cost analysis.
- Act as a liaison between accounting, logistics, and internal partners.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives- financial data accuracy and reporting.
Skills
- Bachelors degree
- 3 years of accounting experience.
- Exposure to international trade, customs, or tariffs preferred.
- SAP software experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
