Grant Accountant- Open to entry level- $24.25/hr.

Job functions-
- Prepare journal entries and budget vouchers with back up documentation.
- Analyze data, reconcile GL accounts, and verifiy accuracy of accounting classifications.
- Maintain files and records (both computer and documents) as required.
- Prepare periodic and special reports of grant account status or analysis as required.
- Submit work assignements to supervisor for review of accuracy and completeness.
- Address issues related to grants accounting as needed, and and ensure compliance with grantor and institutional requirements.
- Attend trainings and meetings, as needed.
- Assist the grants office and institutional research office with reviewing new grant applications and related budgets.
- Prepare for audits and respond to auditors questions.
- Ensure compliance for Federal, State, local, and private grants.
