AC Hotels by Marriott celebrate the beauty of classic modern design with its European soul and Spanish roots. Born from the entrepreneurial spirit of renowned hotelier Antonio Catalan, AC Hotels offer concept-driven, purposeful design for signature moments and no unwanted extras. Located on the ground floor of the AC Hotel Marriott Vancouver Waterfront, the restaurant serves elevated Mediterranean dishes with perfectly curated flavors. The restaurant is currently under renovation and will re-open soon with a new identity and flair.
The Role
As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for seating arriving guests promptly and process cashier transactions accurately and promptly. Occasional assistance with serving guests may be required.

Responsibilities
- Has a friendly, personable style with guests. Anticipates customer needs before they ask
- Complies with all standards regarding greeting and seating of guests, such as staying within two feet of guests while walking to the table; pulling out chairs for guests, handing guests an open menu, introducing the server and upselling any specials
- Has full knowledge of and promotes menu, facilities and services, hours of operation and promotional programs
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Some experience with restaurant computer systems useful
- Experience handling cash and credit card procedures
- Basic Math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s Card, Alcohol Server Training, ServeSafe Certification preferred
