Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will also take on key financial leadership responsibilities. This hybrid role involves overseeing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, and playing a key role in capital management. The COO will manage day-to-day operations while also providing insight into the company’s financial health and growth, with a strong emphasis on fundraising and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and tax management.
• Manage financial risk and capital structure, including equity financing, debt management, and cash flow optimization.
• Oversee operational efficiency, ensuring the company’s day-to-day activities are in line with strategic goals.
• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparent and regular communication.
• Collaborate with the executive team to drive overall company strategy and operational decisions.
• Oversee the company’s financial performance, ensuring sound financial management, resource allocation, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Anticipate and address potential issues by attending regular meetings and providing proactive, forward-looking insights.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a CFO or COO capacity.
• Familiarity with U.S. capital markets and a proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activities.
• Strong operational management experience, with the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Excellent financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP) and experience in digital transformation.
• Must be able to work onsite with no remote options.
