What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at AC Hotel by Marriott Savannah Historic District?
As a member of the North Point team, the Banquet Server uses excellent customer service and communication skills to provide polite, professional food service to event guests as directed.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests as they enter and help them find their seats.
- See to the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.
- Circulate the room with trays of appetizers and beverages.
- Direct guests to necessary services and features.
- Assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths, place settings and buffets.
- Support the other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety and quality regulations.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Work Environment: Semi-Professional work environment requiring uniform standard dress. May interact with guests, other co-workers, work collaboratively.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of food services preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, carry and walk/stand for extended periods of time
