Bartender (Part-time)

AC Hotel Seattle Downtown is a perfectly precise, stylish, modern hotel offering an exceptional guest experience in the vibrant SLU neighborhood. Our hotel boasts a sleek bar with a smooth atmosphere, serving creative cocktails and a selection of fine beverages. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and experienced Part-Time Bartender to join our team and contribute to our guest experience.

As a Part-Time Bartender at AC Hotel Seattle Downtown, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards. You will create memorable experiences for our guests while working in a dynamic and exciting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
• Partner with Cook and Server to provide requested food service to guests, occasionally as a food runner.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Provide personalized, attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
• Check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age and follow all legal and safety requirements.
• Process transactions and manage tabs accurately.
• Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe bar area, including sanitizing surfaces, cleaning glassware, and following health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.
• A friendly, positive attitude with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and drink service.
